UPR – Live from Vernal

It’s a live broadcast from Vernal in conjunction with Utah State University’s dedication of the new Bingham Entrepreneurship and Energy Research Center building and UPR’s upgrade of radio signal to digital station KUSK.

Tom Williams speaks with Rob Behunin, new vice president for commercialization and regional development at Utah State, Paul Israelsen, deputy director of USU’s Energy Dynamics Lab, and Michael Hagood, director of program development for Idaho National Laboratory. Then it’s a conversation with Ted Wilson, senior advisor to the governor and chair of Governor Herbert’s Energy Task Force.

During the final minutes of the program, UPR chief engineer Friend Weller explains how listeners in the Uintah Basin will benefit from the upgrade to a digital station.
