The Great Salt Lake Collaboratory has a more regional focus. A collaboration led by Utah State University’s, Lance Seefeldt, brings researchers together to characterize and protect the unique microbial species found in the Great Salt Lake. These species have great potential to become a non-food feedstock for liquid transportation fuels.
